Robin the poor …


The United Kingdom’s five largest banks are collectively somewhat behind in meeting the commitment that they gave to the government when setting up Project Merlin to lend to small and medium-sized businesses. But why is this project called ‘Project Merlin’? If the abysmal behaviour of banks in recent years is anything to go by, wouldn’t it be more apt to call it ‘Project Sheriff of Nottingham’? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-13494103
